666 Park Avenue Trailer
Supernatural drama 666 Park Avenue comes to ITV2 this month. Although the story may have horror and suspense at its heart, the overall impact falls short of the likes of American Horror Story.
The series stars Dave Annable (Brothers & Sisters) and Rachael Taylor (Charlie’s Angels) as a couple who move into Manhattan apartment building 666 Park Avenue to become its new managers. Vanessa Williams (Ugly Betty) and Terry O’Quinn (Lost) are the creepy and sinister owners, who employ the unsuspecting couple. It soon become clear they have an agenda and the building harbours secrets. With the new couple poking around, the drama is about to kick off.
Although the series boasts a solid cast, the premise is old and the shocks aren’t nearly as disturbing as the likes of American Horror Story or Bedlam. I was left feeling a little short-changed. Turns out, the American audiences agreed – this is the one and only series made before its predictable axe. Nevertheless, fans of suspense may want to check it out and judge for themselves, as all 13 episodes come to ITV2 from next week. Here’s a trailer:
666 Park Avenue starts Tuesday February 19th on ITV2 at 10pm
