Rihanna Speaks Out

We’ve been waiting for her to tell her side of the story for a while now, and finally the global superstar has spoken. Rihanna was interviewed by Diane Sawyer for ABC’s Good Morning America earlier this week. This is the first time she has spoken about the assault that took place in February, in which her then boyfriend, r’n’b singer Chris Brown, left her bloodied and bruised. The first snippet is available below, with more footage being released on America’s 20/20 tomorrow. It’s clear she’s been through hell and back, what with having to cope with the abuse and the subsequent media attention. However, the singer has a positive message to send out to her female fans:
