Gary Barlow must never sit down! He spent last year judging The X Factor, touring the nation with Take That and raising oodles of cash for Children in Need. Now, we’re barely into the third month of the year and he’s working again! The songwriter is penning a track with West End maestro Andrew Lloyd-Webber in honour of The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. The song will be performed as part of the Diamond Jubilee Concert at Buckingham Palace on June 4th.
As part of the project, Gary will embark on a tour of the Commonwealth. He will discover what The Queen means to the Commonwealth and how music varies from country to country. His findings are being recorded for an hour-long documentary which will broadcast on BBC One this summer.
