Sean Bean stars in BBC One's Accused
The brilliant Jimmy McGovern drama series Accused makes a welcome return to BBC One this year. The series follows a different character each episode and tells a thought-provoking story of how they came to face trail in court. The first series received critical acclaim and featured a stellar cast, including Christopher Eccleston, Jane Horrocks, Juliet Stevenson, Andy Serkis and Marc Warren. The second series will star the likes of Sean Bean – as a transvestite who commits a crime of passion – Stephen Graham, Anna Maxwell Martin and Robert Sheehan. The writing credits include Jimmy McGovern himself and EastEnders writer Shaun Duggan.
