BBC to Wipe Out Celebs!
We all have television programmes that we watch in secret. No! Not THOSE kind of programmes! Ones that we prefer not to tell people we watch because they’re silly or just plain bad but we like them anyway. Total Wipeout is my guilty pleasure. In case you haven’t seen it, just imagine total losers bouncing, falling and hurtling their way around a giant obstacle course that’s floating in mud and water. The winner gets £10,000. Totally pointless but just so funny. Silly funny, not clever funny. I was thrilled to find out another series has been greenlit, and that’s not all! The girls’ team is yet to be announced. It amazes me that any celebrities would sign up to it. Firstly, it’s actually really hard – the obstacles don’t lend themselves to the faint-hearted! Secondly, you look like a total plonker when you make a mistake. This is mainly because failure results in being punched in the face, thrown into a pool of mud or smacking into something at great speed. It’s not exactly graceful. Anyway, I’m not complaining – I can’t wait to see the suckers celebrities wade through the course whilst trying to maintain their self-respect! Here’s the kind of comedy classics we can expect:
