Big Names for Live 30 Rock
Matt Damon returns for 30 Rock live episode
Spoiler alert!! Just a couple of days to go til the highly-anticipated live episode of 30 Rock in the US. Tina Fey has pulled out all the stops and bagged some big screen stars for the episode. Matt Damon reprises his guest role as Liz Lemon’s dream guy – the unfortunately named airline pilot, Carol. For those of you who hadn’t heard about his appearance in the fifth series, don’t get too excited as he won’t be a regular. However, someone who may make more than a couple of appearances on the show is actor Paul Giamatti, who will play a crotchety editor who works in the basement. Mad Men’s Jon Hamm is also making a cameo in the live ep, as Liz’s ex-boyfriend Drew. Could there be sparks between him and Carol? Apparently, that’s not even all the names, but producers are keeping schtum about any other surprise cameos. Is it too much to expect Steve Carell to turn up as well? After all, he has quit his day job!
