Last night, Channel 4 aired an eye-opening documentary called Proud and Prejudiced. It asked the question ‘has multiculturalism failed’? EDL leader Tommy Robinson insisted it hasn’t; he thinks religion has failed. Living in the same city as extremist Muslim Sayful Islam, he is constantly knocking heads with the Muslim community and what he calls the gradual ‘Islamisation’ of Britain. The hour-long documentary was uncomfortable but essential viewing (catch up now on 4oD).

On Thursday, Channel 4 continues to explore multiculturalism in Britain, with another ground-breaking documentary - Make Bradford British. The two-parter brings together Bradford residents of different races to live together under one roof. Whilst they may practice different customs and have different beliefs, they all have one thing in common – they are British. The group explores what it means to be British and attempts to take the goverment’s UK Citizenship Test:

Take the government’s UK Citizenship Test yourself here and find out how others did #MakesYouBritish. Make Bradford British airs on Channel 4 from Thursday 1st March at 9pm.
