Carlton Gets Fresh

It’s never pretty when a chubby, out-of-work TV has-been goes on a bitter rant. Alfonso Ribeiro, who played Carlton Banks in the 90s classic, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, has let rip during….a Fresh Prince reunion? In a TV interview? On a chat show? Nope…at a New York university gig. Lame! Alfonso took the opportunity to express what blatantly appears to be resentment at the fact that he was almost replaced by another actor in the beginning of the series. Relax Alfonso! You got the part in the end, didn’t you? He then said some rather nasty, but probably truthful, things about the first actress who played his on-screen mum. It’s been a while, he could’ve just left it and moved on. But he just had to have his say. Better late than never?
