Comedian and marathon-lover Eddie Izzard has signed up for the upcoming TV series of Hannibal. Eddie will play an inmate in the prison where Hannibal Lecter is incarcerated. We’re hoping Hannibal won’t take a chunk out of Eddie while he sleeps. Those runner’s thighs can be tempting. Veep star Anna Chlumsky (yes she really is the cute little girl from the film My Girl) will also join the cast as a trainee FBI agent. Expect the show to debut in the New Year.
