Emmerdale Goes Live for 40th Anniversary

Corrie did it for their 40th and 50th, EastEnders did it for their 25th and now Emmerdale has become the latest soap to announce a live episode for their 40th anniversary. Details are forthcoming, but ITV has confirmed the special will screen in October, during week-long anniversary celebrations. Amongst the drama of the live event will be two weddings – one of which will be totally unexpected – and the birth of two babies!
