Enders Wins Big Again
EastEnders scooped half of the awards at the Inside Soap Awards last night. The soap walked away with seven awards including Best Soap, Best Bad Boy (Archie Mitchell – Larry Lamb), Best Bitch (Janine Butcher – Charlie Brooks), Sexiest Male (Christian Clarke – John Partridge) and Lacey Turner won Best Actress for her portrayal of Stacey Slater for the fourth year in a row.
Corrie didn’t do too badly, winning Best Actor (Tony Gordon – Gray O’Brien), Sexiest Female (Tina McIntyre – Michelle Keegan) and Best Newcomer (Graeme Proctor – Craig Gazey) amongst others. Every awards ceremony has to have a loser, and Hollyoaks was saved from the title by winning Best Family for the McQueens. Unfortunately, that meant Emmerdale walked away sans le gong but there’s always the next one guys!
