It’s probably going to be the hardest TV show to Google, but Girls comes to Sky Atlantic this September. (FYI Googling just the word ‘girls’ definitely doesn’t bring up a TV show, I tell ya.) The HBO comedy is written by and stars Lena Dunham as an aspiring writer in her early twenties who lives in Brooklyn. The series follows Hannah and her group of girlfriends as they negotiate work, love and friendship in busy New York. Watching the trailer, it looks like a sort of anti Sex and the City. Like, SATC but with ‘real’ girls who have crap love lives and don’t know what they’re doing half the time! The series has got rave reviews in America due to its honest, funny and realistic portrayal of women in their 20s:
