Gröhl Has Had a Gleeful
Just as the popularity of Glee is reaching epic proportions, in steps another rock star to bring the show’s creators back down to earth. Let’s face it, Ryan Murphy (Glee’s creator) is probably quite a smug chap these days, what with all these A-list musicians knocking at his door, hoping their songs will be covered by the cast on the hit comedy show. But not everyone is knocking at said door. Kudos to the Foo Fighters frontman, Dave Gröhl, who managed to bring perspective back to the music world by joining the likes of Kings of Leon and Slash in the growing league of Anti-Gleeks. In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, he is quoted as saying:
“”It’s every band’s right, you shouldn’t have to do f***ing Glee. And then the guy who created Glee is so offended that we’re not, like, begging to be on his f***ing show… f*** that guy for thinking anybody and everybody should want to do Glee. Yeah, f*** that s***.”
Indeed, f*** that s***, Dave, f*** that s***.
