Goldie Hawn to star in Viagra Diaries
Oscar winner Goldie Hawn is a successful and prolific actress. So much so, that she has been busy with films and not graced the small screen for a good decade or so. However, that’s about to change as US broadcaster HBO has now managed to sign Goldie up for brand new comedy drama, The Viagra Diaries.
The series is based on Barbara Rose Brooker’s 2009 best-selling book of the same name. It follows a woman in her 60s who is newly single, after her husband of 35 years has a mid-life crisis and leaves her. Darren Star, producer of Sex and the City and Beverly Hills 90210, will be adapting the story for television. As well as taking the lead role, Goldie will also double up as joint executive producer. The series is expected to debut on our side of the pond on Sky Atlantic.
