Kevin Costner Makes TV Debut

He’s Danced with Wolves, gone to Waterworld, stole from the rich to feed the poor and been a Bodyguard. Now 57-year-old Kevin Costner has finally made his first TV appearance! And it’s a record-breaking one too. The Hollywood A-lister has produced and stars in Hatfields & McCoys – a three-part miniseries based on a feud between two Kentucky families. The feud lasted from 1863 until 1891 and drew many casualties in both families. Kevin stars as William ‘Devil Anse’ Hatfield, one of the instigators of the feud. Big Love’s Bill Paxton and 24′s Powers Boothe also star as rivaling family members. The drama aired on the History channel in the US this week and attracted 13.9 millions viewers – the highest ratings in the channel’s history.
