Laura White Releases Cathedral
Remember Laura White? She was eliminated from the 2008 series of X Factor after a spectacular vote off with Spanish belter Ruth Lorenzo. Since then, she released a debut single, which peaked at number 32 on the charts, but little has been seen of her since. Thankfully, 2012 is looking good for Laura. The Voice UK has already approached her about using one of her songs for the eventual winner, and Laura is releasing her debut album ‘Lyrics In My Underwear’ soon. The first single off the album is the ballad ‘Cathedral’, which bears a video very reminiscent of something out of the 80s. China in Your Hand, anyone? Show Me Heaven? No? OK, just us then…
