Misha B is the latest X Factor alumnus to release music, following on from Aiden Grimshaw and Cheryl’s new video releases last week. The feisty singer was robbed of a place in the finals of last year’s competition and came fourth, amidst a bullying controversy. The 19-year-old has now released a mixtape of covers and new material online. Why Hello World features Misha’s version of TLC’s UnPretty, Adele’s Rolling in the Deep and Usher’s Climax. There are also new songs, including her upcoming single – expected to be released in July – Home Run. Her sound is very urban and quite edgy – exactly what we expected of her and exactly what suits her. Plus, we were always quite partial to a Misha B rap…Listen to the whole mixtape below:
