Marvel’s Avengers Comes to TV
Given that Avengers Assemble (for some reason I keep calling it Avengers Ensemble – fail) is already the third biggest-selling film of all time, it comes as no surprise that a new TV show is in the works. It is a surprise, however, that the series will be live-action. That’s featuring humans as opposed to animation, if you know what I mean. Joss Whedon, writer and director of the first film, has just signed on for the big-screen sequel. He will also produce the TV series. He is officially a busy man. It is not yet clear which Marvel characters will feature on the small screen adaptation, but maybe Spidey, the X-Men or The Fantastic Four could make an appearance?? With separate cinema releases for Iron Man, Thor and Captain America also planned between now and 2014, prepare to be all Marveled out soon.
