Munsters Remade into Mockingbird Lane
Popular 1960s sitcom The Munsters is being remade under the guise of Mockingbird Lane. Pushing Daisies creator Bryan Fuller has got behind the project and has cast Eddie Izzard in the patriarch role of Grandpa. Portia de Rossi and Jerry O’Connell also star in the remake. From the looks of the first promo pic, these lot look a lot more…shall we say…’everyday’…than the original bunch. But don’t be fooled by their appearance, they’re still people-eating monsters. The series is currently at pilot stage but a series announcement is expected to be made soon.
