Preview: The Inbetweeners US
E4′s mammoth hit comedy The Inbetweeners is criminally being remade for an American audience. Nooo! Here’s the first look at the Stateside cast. Bubba Lewis (his actual name is Bubba?!), Joey Pollari, Mark L Young and Zack Pearlman play Simon, Will, Neil and Jay respectively. Their looks are identical to their British namesakes, apart from Neil’s long hair. However, the thought of the boys becoming all American fills me with cynicism. Will the British humour translate? Tune into MTV from August 20th to find out. Meanwhile, I found this interview with the cast on YouTube and now Mark L Young really annoys me:
