Revenge starring Emily VanCamp
Here’s the trailer for a curious new drama series called Revenge. It stars her off Brothers & Sisters, Emily VanCamp (who is 25 now but still looks about 15), and watch out for an appearance from Bambi off Secret Diary of a Call Girl too (actress Ashley Madekwe). The first series has done well in the US and travelled pretty much all over the world but has strangely not been picked up over here yet.
The story follows Emily Thorne – a woman who, as a child, witnessed her father being taken away from her and imprisoned after he was wrongfully framed for a crime. Twenty years later, Emily is back under the new name of Amanda Clarke and sets out to seek revenge on those who took her father away. Of course, the road to revenge is thorny (no pun intended!) so plenty of twists lie ahead for her. After seeing Emily VanCamp as the vulnerable Rebecca Harper in Brothers & Sisters, it’s nice to see her in a more edgy role. Watching the trailer, there’s something quite Ringer about this series…not sure if that’s a good or bad thing yet! Hopefully, we get to find out for ourselves very soon.
