Signed Group Through in X Factor?!
Simon Cowell has changed the rules for this year’s X Factor, allowing signed acts and those with management to audition. As a result, girl group From Above have made it through to Boot Camp, despite being managed by Matthew Knowles. Yes, that’s Beyoncé’s dad Matthew Knowles. As in, Destiny’s Child’s manager, Matthew Knowles. I can’t help but wonder why the group felt they needed the programme to make it in the industry?! They have the guy who managed the world’s most successful girlband ever behind them! Plus, they were put together on an MTV series called Breaking From Above, so they’ve already been on TV. No fair! The other unsigned and unknown acts attending Boot Camp must be more than a little peeved, understandably.
