Sky Going Postal
Terry Pratchett’s infamous 2004 novel ‘Going Postal’ is to be adapted into a two-part drama for Sky1. Broadcasting at the end of May, the adventure story features a cast of highly-acclaimed British actors, including Richard Coyle as Moist Von Lipwig, David Suchet as Reacher Gilt, Charles Dance as Lord Vetinari, Andrew Sachs as (the unfortunately-named) Groat and Tamsin Greig as Miss Cripslock.
The story follows con-artist Moist Von Lipwig as he is spared death by hanging in return for working as Postmaster at the local post office. It’s here that he falls for Adora Belle Dearheart (played by Claire Foy) and the troubles begin. It should be a good watch, what with the impressive cast and Budapest providing the backdrop for Pratchett’s Ankh-Morphork fantasy land.
