Sky Sports F1 launches in March
Sky is to launch a channel dedicated to Formula 1. Sky Sports F1 will transmit on Sky channel 408 from March to November, covering all the live action from the motoring season. The channel will feature advertising-free races from each Grand Prix and qualifying races, as well as on-board camera footage and behind-the-scenes features via interactive services. Outside of Grand Prix sessions, there will be magazine shows, interviews with drivers and a look back at archive footage. The channel will be free to Sky HD and Sky Sports subscribers, with plans for it to launch on Virgin in the near future.
