Sky’s the Limit for 3D TV

The credit crunch doesn’t seem to have affected Sky TV. BSkyB has just announced that it has nearly 10million subscribers to its pay-TV service. Nearly half a million people have subscribed in the last 12 months alone. That’s the biggest increase the company have seen in the past five years. This is expected to launch next year and will be available to anyone with a Sky+HD set-top box and a 3D-ready TV. It feels like I just bought an HD-ready TV! Now there’s a 3D-ready one too? Argh…I think I’ll have to wait a while to benefit from this latest innovation! I’m sure I’ll survive. But if you’re aching to find out more, have a look at Stuff.tv’s report on it from last year:
