Superstar Judges Named
Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s latest reality competition Superstar comes to ITV1 soon. Jason Donovan and Dawn French have been named as the judges that will join Andrew in the search for a star to lead the Tim Rice-produced arena tour of Jesus Christ Superstar. Amanda Holden will host the TV programme. The cast already boasts some big, and surprising, names including Tim Minchin, Melanie C and Chris Moyles. Jason, Melanie and renowned theatre director David Grindrod have auditioned several actors that will be whittled down for the live shows on ITV. The arena tour will hit the UK in September, after a digitally remastered version of the original Jesus Christ Superstar album is released on July 16th.
