Superstars to Return?
The BBC wants the Olympics hype to never end. The broadcaster is now in talks to bring back the 1970s series Superstars. A little like Channel 5′s The Games, the show gets sporting heroes to compete in physical challenges that are not in their normal field of sport. It was so popular it ran for 12 years from 1973, and was recently revived for Sports Relief. Could we be seeing the likes of Jessica Ennis and Mo Farah competing in a brand new series? Let’s hope so! But hopefully nothing like THIS will ever happen again:
