Tiffany and Debbie Gibson star in new SyFy movie
This is the most random piece of news you will hear all year. Probably. SyFy has commissioned a straight-to-TV movie that will star faded 80s popstars Tiffany and Debbie Gibson. I’ll wait a minute while you read that sentence again. Yes, the SyFy channel will be screening a movie called ‘Mega Shark vs. Gatoroid’ (sounds *great*) that will feature Debbie Gibson as an animal rights campaigner. Her old chart rival Tiffany will star as a park ranger who ends up in a tussle with Gibson in a swamp! This is a true WTF moment! Unbelievably, this is actually a sequel to ‘Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus’, which also starred Gibson. So those royalties really aren’t paying the bills, huh?
