The Choice Rips Off The Voice!
I actually cannot believe our very own Cat Deeley has agreed to host a dating show that can only be viewed as a total rip-off of The Voice. US broadcaster Fox has announced a series where four celebrities pick their dates via blind auditions where they have their back to the potential suitors whilst sitting in swivel chairs. It is significantly reminiscent of a certain singing competition that happened to have started recently on BBC One! To make things even more blatant, they’ve named the programme The Choice!
Cat Deeley is a veritable star in the US now, thanks to her presenting skills on So You Think You Can Dance?, so I’m not sure why she would choose to be involved in such a clanger of a show. I didn’t quite believe the audacity of the show until I saw the trailer…wow this really is going to happen, in June, apparently:
