The Phone: Would You Pick Up?

Justin Timberlake – he’s a multi-talented guy: singer, song-writer, musician, dancer, and now…television show producer. His new gameshow ‘The Phone’ debuted on MTV US last night. It features high stunts and seriously stressful real-life set-ups. The premise is that each contestant chooses whether or not they want to accept their challenge, when ‘the operator’ calls them randomly on their mobile. If they accept, they are catapulted into a series of intense situations, without warning, that could range from racing into a burning building to save someone, to hanging off the edge of Seattle’s Space Needle! There are two teams competing for a prize of $50,000, but unsurprisingly there’ll be a twist at the end for the winner. I wasn’t so fussed with it until I saw the promo.
