The Snowman to Melt Hearts Again
Classic yuletide character The Snowman is coming back this Christmas with a friend. Channel 4, which still airs Raymond Briggs’ original 1982 animation every Christmas, is to premiere the sequel ‘The Snowman and the Snowdog’ this December. As you can see from the picture, the snowdog has a satsuma nose and sock ears. Cute! The Snowman melted hearts across the nation with its theme tune ‘Walking in the Air’, sung by Aled Jones. The new cartoon is set to air on Channel 4 on Christmas Day.
