Top 3 Fathers for Fathers’ Day
Sunday is Fathers’ Day and we’ve trawled through the day’s listings to highlight three of the coolest and most dedicated dads gracing our TV screens on the day:
3. Dexter – OK so he may not be the most moral person on TV (being that he’s a serial killer and all) but come on! He loves his Harrison! Things got seriously exciting round about Series 4 when Dexter became a family man and had to learn how to juggle being a father with, well you know, killing. The sixth series of Dexter concludes on FX at 9pm on Sunday.
2. Homer Simpson (The Simpsons) – He might be a bit of a hopeless idiot, but he’s a loveable one. And he sure does love his brood. What he lacks as a role model, he makes up for with pure fatherly affection. Awww…Catch Homer on Sky1 from 7pm.
1. Ross Geller (Friends) – It may have taken him a while to find the woman of his dreams, what with three divorces to his name, but he was always a great father to Ben and Emma. Comedy Central screens back-to-back Friends all day Sunday, with the two-parter The One Where Rachel Has a Baby airing at prime-time, from 8pm.
