Who Will Guest on X Factor?
As Dannii Minogue flies to Australia to have her sprog, it has been announced that several celebrities will guest judge for the audition stage of the next X Factor series. We’re hoping that Dannii will be fit and well for the live finals, but who can we expect to fill her shoes during the auditions? Her sister Kylie is apparently up for making an appearance. Apart from her, here’s who we think could be sitting alongside Cheryl, Louis and Simon:
1. Mel B: She showed an interest in judging American Idol a while back, after seeing her former bandmate Victoria Beckham do it. Since Emma Bunton has now also taken up a judging role on Dancing on Ice, it figures that Mel B wants to get in on the action too. Will she be a Scary judge?
2. Lily Allen: She’s known for being outspoken and controversial. Just what the show needs!
3. Mariah Carey: She came on as a mentor last series but admittedly she may be just a little too busy to take time out to be a judge.
4. Eminem: He made no secret of the fact he was disappointed with the lack of hip-hop acts on the show. So let’s see if his presence can change that! Although, rappers on The X Factor? Hmm…
5. Rihanna: Apparently, she’s a massive fan of the show. So why not be a part of it?
6. Lady GaGa: Just for the outfits.
7. Pete Waterman: Bring back an old colleague! He has got plenty of experience from his Popstars days. And he’s currently writing the British Eurovision song entry, so a little publicity couldn’t hurt.
8. Robbie Williams: Another celeb who said they would be up for it. It might actually help his waning popularity.
9. Kelly Brook: To make up for the whole Britain’s Got Talent fiasco.
10. Brian Friedman: It would be like a promotion of sorts, from Creative Director to Guest Judge. Although, he would probably have his hands full with the day job.
Who do you think would make a good judge? Post your comments below.
