Zombie Alert on US TV
How much would you be bricking it if your local TV channel claimed zombies were attacking the living outside your house? An American TV station was subject to a hoax this week, when hackers infiltrated the channel’s emergency warning system and broadcast a message about dead bodies rising from graves. Montana TV station KRTV published a message over their normal viewing stating the zombies were attacking people and that viewers should stay inside their houses. The company is now determining how hackers managed to get past their obviously extremely rigorous security (cough, cough). Amazingly (for America), there were no calls to the police over the incident. Would you believe it if you heard this message on ITV or the BBC?
